Our Mental Health Mission

Beginning in 2015, our coalition for mental wellness implemented plans with help from community members, first responders, and educators. The more we do, the more we learn and strive to be a suicide-free city.


of our first responders are trained in crisis intervention.


of our teachers in Hamilton Southeastern Schools, grades 5-12 are trained in Question, Persuade, and Respond Training.

What We Learned In Our Journey To

Encourage Mental Health Wellness

We started with the goal to create a stigma-free city. We learned there was a lot more we could do if we built a plan for change using our community members and collective resources. See our journey.
